the better witch
i think DIANA G.GALLAGHER should be given kudos for writing a book on magic that's not sentimental as others 0thers.sabrina as said in the book does not depend on her powers for everything on like tanya.the book is very interesting and should be given an award. when i watched the film i knew that the book whould be fun to read. i just want to say i love the narrative techniques of ms diana. 'mind over magic'ilove that line it really portrays sabrina to be better than tanya who wears her pride on her skin
too cool
it was really cool show down at the mall i hate it when she got hit
Not bad, not bad at all
I can't say I loved this book, or that it's the best in the series, but it is nevertheless a rather fun book. Read it if you have nothing more interesting and thought provoking, or just if you want a light read.

Period 1
Sabrina really wants to work at Too Chic Boutique for a school project. She doesnt use magic to get the job, but when she ends up getting it, her magic stops working. Sabrina soon learns why her magic isn't working. Her cousin, Tanya, a full witch has sweared to prove that her magic is better than Sabrina; even if it means destroying Sabrina's job and putting a spell over Harvey. Sabrina tries to get Tanya back with magic, but every time she trys, it backfires on her. They keep this magic up till Tanya disappears in the mall.

I did not like this book, but in a way i still liked it because it took up the whole book to just expalin Tanya and Sabrina's fight and their spells, which bored me, but the way Tanya messed up Sabrina's life was funny. I was really glad when Tanya disappeared and when this book ended. " Eyes wide with terror, she started to shriek-and vanished." She had wished for Sabrina to disappear, but when the spell hit Sabrina, it bounced back to Tanya because of the protection shield Sabrina had on herself. Tanya may have ended up in Antarctica for anybody knows. The spell just puts you anywhere on earth or even out of earth.

It was funny when Tanya always messed up Sabrina's hair and her reputation. "Stunned, Sabrina reached up and touched the dry frizzies flying away from her scalp in glorious disarray." She had tried to cast a spell on Tanya, but it backfired on her. "Tanya's hair still fell shining, soft waves over her shoulder." Everyone seemed to notice her frizzled hair at the Slicery. She was very embarrased.

My least favorite part in the book was when Tanya always had to do things better than Sabrina. She was so competitive againest her. She stole her boyfriend. Nearly cost Sabrina her job at Too Chic Boutique. Tanya teams up with Libby, a snobby cheer-leader. Sabrina's aunts don't help her in this problem and makes her figure it out herself.
