The only way Mongul can regain the crown of War World is to fight Superman again–and win. So he dispatches the bounty hunter Lobo to Earth to bring the Man of Steel back. Lobo finds Superman, and after they've fought to a stand-off, he holds up a remote control and tells Superman that he's hidden a thermonuclear device somewhere on Earth.
