About the Author: Giles H.R. Tillotson
Giles Tillotson is well known as a writer and lecturer on Indian historyand architecture. He taught at the University of London from 1990 to2004, since when he has been living in Gurgaon, near Delhi. His earlierbooks include Mughal India, Jaipur Nama and Taj Mahal, all published byPenguin. This is his first work of fiction.
