Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever is written by Jeff Kinney and is the sixth part of the series. This book is the story of the protagonist Gregory's tryst with 'horror' before the Christmas season. It presents an amusing plot that includes the mental pressure he has to go through to be at his best behavior in December. He also has to worry about whether he makes it to Santa's nice or naughty list.

To worsen the situation, he fears that he will have a problem with the police as he has sold chicken drumsticks at a lower price than that in his school. He is sure that the Police are going to nab him when a blizzard hits the town and traps him and his entire family.

What follows next is events snowballing into another when he meets an old friend Alfrendo; this saves him a bit from his bully brothers Manny and Rodrick. Will Greogory stop being bullied and overcome his fears?
