About The Author:

Sunita Pant Bansal graduated in Food and Nutrition and did her post graduation in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition, in Delhi, India. She subsequently began writing on Health and Nutrition, with articles and columns appearing in major Indian newspapers and magazines. She was the first dietician to start a private practice in Delhi, and has the honour of being the only Indian dietician with Indian qualifications to become a member of the British Dietetic Association, U.K. Sunita has done an in-depth study of all the alternative healing therapies and uses her knowledge base to create prescriptions for various health problems. She worked briefly as editor- health with the Times of India group of newspapers. She has been an advisor to Life Positive, a spiritual magazine; and was the founder-editor of The Eternal Solutions, a wellness magazine. She has also aired many programmes on health on radio and television. Expanding her field to holistic health, she continues to write on mind-body-soul health for all forms of media. She is currently associated as the editorial director with Tathaastu: So Be It, a holistic health magazine for the non-resident Indians in USA; and Hindu Today, a spiritual magazine for the non-resident Indians in UK. A regular contributor to Men's Health (Indian edition), her best-selling books on nutrition and health are: Healing Power of Foods, Diet in Diseasesand Cholesterol Busters, all published by Pustak Mahal.
