There is also appropriate detailed attention to the management of pain that is caused by bone metastases. The tables and figures are well-organized and instructive, and the index is also helpful. This is an outstanding text that should be included in the libraries of all those with an interest in the physiology, diagnosis, and/or management of patients presented with the difficult problem of cancer that is metastatic to bones.
