Transition metal oxides (TMOs) have been recognized as versatile chromogenic materials in thin film configuration. It is noteworthy that, chromogenic properties of thin films significantly depend on type of deposition technique and processing parameters. In the present book, we presented the preparation of Metal Oxide thin films grown by Plasma Assisted Activated Reactive Evaporation and carried out a comparative investigation on "Microstructural and electrochromic properties of amorphous, nano-crystalline and polycrystalline thin films". In addition to present study,we extended our research to grow Nano-crystalline metal oxide thin films on ITO coated flexible substrates for cutting-edge future-based electrochromic technological needs
